Warehouse Administrator

This position is suited to an experienced, hands-on warehouse administrator with strong stock control and receiving experience. The successful candidate must be highly organised, accurate and assertive, with the ability to manage stock discrepancies, maintain reliable inventory records and take ownership of daily responsibilities.

 

• Manage warehouse administration and maintain accurate stock records.

• Conduct cycle counts and stocktakes, investigate discrepancies and process stock adjustments.

• Oversee goods receiving and accurately capture stock movements.

• Process purchase orders, GRNs, credit notes and related documentation.

• Manage petty cash, reconciliations and general administration.

• Support management and liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve stock issues.

 

• Matric / Grade 12.

• Minimum 5 years' warehouse experience, including at least 3 years in goods receiving.

• Practical experience in stock control, inventory management, stocktaking and reconciliations.

• Strong computer literacy and accurate data capturing skills.

• Excellent numerical, organisational and administrative abilities.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Assertive, reliable and accountable, with the ability to work independently under pressure.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to work occasional Friday and Saturday stocktakes, approximately three times per year.

 

Experience using Syspro or a similar ERP / stock management system, particularly in a manufacturing or production environment.

 

This is a highly administrative position requiring hands-on warehouse experience, strong stock control capabilities and a proactive approach to resolving discrepancies and maintaining stock accuracy.
